Selling Red Rank Equipment
I started selling equipment for Red Rank adventurers as recommended by Alizée.
As expected, since it was specifically for Red-rankers, customers haven’t shown up yet.
Instead, the Grand Master came.
“Mhm. The leather for the chest armor is triple-layered, isn’t it?”
“Yes, the sample is made with three layers. That way, it doesn’t hinder movement too much when worn.”
“I see. By the way, will you be making armor like the one worn by the members of the Wildcat Claws.”
“That’s a custom order. I don’t usually make it, but I can do it as a special order. I have a few in stock if you’re interested.”
“In stock, huh. Can you make it if we provide the materials?”
“You can bring the leather, but it needs to be processed because I can’t tan it. Also, it has to be within the range of leather that my magic tailoring can handle.”
“… The carapace of Gaya Tortoise is considered leather to you?”
“My magic tailoring did recognize it as leather.”
I was surprised that something so hard was classified as leather.
It was worth trying.
After dealing with Rumaja and assisting regular customers, four elegantly dressed women entered the shop.
They were dressed nicely but in travel attire.

“I see. We are Red-rankers looking to update our armor. We heard that this place can handle rushed jobs, according to the Adventurers’ Guild.”
“Yes, I can make it with magic tailoring, so if it’s from existing patterns, it won’t take much time. By the way, are you all from the Scarlet Oath?”

I took out several armor patterns from my backpack, in addition to the one I have shown Rumaja.
They all had the same basic shape, but there were variations, like one with a compressed chest area for archers and another with fewer leather layers for increased flexibility.
Even with fewer leather layers, there was hardly any change in the range of movement, so it really only meant a reduction in price.
“These are the current sample products I have. The leather used for the sample is Landwhale, which is a bit more affordable for Red-rankers.”

“… Is that all? This will only make me start doubting the quality?”
“There are optional parts like shoulder armor, gauntlets, skirt armor, greaves, and thigh armor.”
“I see. So, this is just the price for the chest armor.”
“We want to sell only the necessary parts according to the customer’s needs.”
“That sounds good.”
Despite some initial skepticism, the members of The Scarlet oath consulted and decided on the necessary parts, placing their orders.
The delivery date is the day after tomorrow, and tomorrow will be the day I make the equipment.
The members of The Scarlet Oath seemed satisfied with their choice of equipment, so it should be a good outcome.
I’m a bit concerned about Rumaja, who was there during the handover, though.
