Crafting Armor for the Galette County
As the first two parties completed their orders and left, the remaining two parties arrived to take their turn.
Since they had already heard about the process from the previous parties, discussions went smoothly, which was great.
It was great, except for one problem—the leather materials they wanted… were hard to come by.

"Alizée, do we still have any Wonder Deer leather left?"

I visited the Trade Guild to check if the material I needed was still available.
All the adventurers in Galette County wanted the highest-quality leather armor, which made sourcing the leather quite a challenge.
It had already been a year since I last hunted a Wonder Deer, so who knew how much leather was still left?

"Yes, we do. Guild Master Priscilla had instructed us to set some aside for you, Lady Lily, so there is still plenty remaining."

"Really!? Is there enough to make full-body armor for nearly twenty adventurers!?"

"It should be enough for about forty. Would you like to take some?"

"Yes, please!"

The storage room Alizée led me to had a time-stop barrier that activated whenever the entrance door was closed, preventing the leather from deteriorating.
There was even a designated section with my name on it.
Not only was there Wonder Deer leather, but they had also set aside Gaya Tortoise plastron for me.
I wouldn’t be using it this time since I still had enough stock, but this might come in handy in the future.

After collecting the necessary leather and paying for it, I immediately started working in the store’s workshop.
This commission required precise specifications for leather thickness, making it quite a tough job.
I was also asked to reinforce the chest and back sections with Gaya Tortoise plastron and to include intricate decorative designs.

Honestly, the decoration part was a hassle.
After finishing the armor itself, I had to create additional stencil patterns and embed gold and silver threads into the design.
I understood that appearance mattered, but without this extra requirement, I could have finished everything in just a week…

The decorative work, which I normally didn’t do, ended up taking a lot of time.
Drafting the patterns wasn’t that difficult, but choosing the most beautiful designs was a struggle—I wasn’t confident in my sense of aesthetics.
So, I had to consult Plum and the members of the Wildcat’s Claws throughout the process… and it was utterly exhausting.
To make matters worse, most of the clients simply said, "I’ll leave it to you," as if that wasn’t completely irresponsible.
Well, at least it’s done now.

It took slightly over two weeks, but given the large number of orders, I figured the delay would be acceptable.
I had already sent out the message birds to notify them of the completion, so now all that was left was for them to come and pick up their armor.
Crafting armor for Red-rank adventurers was a rare experience and a valuable one—but man, was it tiring.

I think that will help in the future when Lily decides to expand her business.
Thanks for the treat.
