Lana’s Laboratory
It had been decided that Lana would become my escort.
But it seems she won’t be joining me right away.
Apparently, she left her research materials and tools back at her old base.

“Um, what’s an isolation barrier?”

“It’s a barrier that separates a certain space from the surrounding area. Entry and exit are only possible through designated points. Once the entrance is closed, it’s impossible to observe what’s inside from the outside—at least, by normal means.”

“By normal means? Then, does that mean there are abnormal means that can?”

“With Lord Kiblinki Saltas’s power, it seems they can still read the thoughts of those inside…”

Really, the ability of the Kiblinki Saltas is such a mystery.
Even though the space should be completely isolated, they can leap past that and read minds.

Why is she in such a rush?

“My magic vehicle, the Lumite Grand Wing. Lately it’s only been used for test runs, but it’s a monster of a truck with three large freight beds. If necessary, I can even assign you a driver. How about it?”

“Please, yes!”

And so it was settled.
At first, I thought to ask someone from Wildcat Claws to be the driver.
But one of the maids volunteered, and she even had a license, so I left it to her.
Good—now all that’s left is to wait for Lana to return.
… It’s not going to be too much for even the Lumite Grand Wing to handle, right?
