Let’s Get New Leather Armor
Ulla's plan to acquire metal armor ended in failure.
Still, only Ulla seemed disheartened; Elsa and Shellche didn’t seem bothered at all.

With that decided, we returned to my shop to focus on leather armor instead.
They actually have a pretty generous budget.
Even after accounting for the cost of upgrading their weapons, they still have plenty left for armor.
This means I can recommend some high-quality gear.

"With your budget, Ulla could afford gear typically worn by red-rank adventurers. The other two would get gear fit for average blue-rank adventurers, though."

"W-Wait a minute! We're green-rank adventurers!"

"Having Elsa with us is a big advantage. The Rock Wolves help carry the prey, after all."

These three seem to work really well together.

"Metal Skeleton and Metal Giant bones."

Yep, I’ve got leftovers of Metal Skeleton and Metal Giant bones.
I sent a batch through the Trade Guild to use as parts for my personal magic vehicle, but there were too many, so some of them were returned to me.
I considered bringing them to the Adventurers’ Guild, but the amount was awkward, so I kept them instead.

To be honest, they’re just surplus.

"Metal Skeleton and Metal Giant bones... aren’t these materials used for red-rank adventurer equipment?"

"That’s right. But that’s only because the material costs are high. If you bring your own materials, they can make something pretty affordable. The only condition is that any leftover material goes to the blacksmith."

With materials provided, they’d make the equipment at a much lower cost.
The excess materials couldn’t be returned, but they promised to create high-quality gear.
Since we have no use for Metal Skeleton or Metal Giant equipment ourselves, it’s a good chance to put these to use.

"I really want them, but how much would it cost?"

"If you order a full set of leather armor from my shop, I’ll knock it down to 500,000 Rubies. How about it?"

The market price was around 800,000 Rubies, so this deal should be fine.
After that, I measured everyone’s sizes to determine the leather to use for their armor.
Compared to last time they visited, all three of them had sturdier builds.
It’s proof they’ve grown as adventurers.

They placed their leather armor orders properly, so I’ll make sure to finish them quickly.

Wait, won’t they avoid hunting until their new weapons are ready?
Well, getting things done fast isn’t a bad thing.
