I could only eat about half of the hot chili burger…
The ginger water was spicy too.
I managed to drink all the ginger water, but the other half of the hot chili burger ended up in Ulla’s stomach.
The total amount for the bill seemed reasonable for the quality.
Since I couldn’t eat much, I end up buying snacks from food stalls.
Various dishes are sold in the street stalls in the city of Vardmoi.
The most common are grilled skewered meat, followed by soups.
There are a few other options scattered around…
I guess the impact of grilled skewered meat and the ease of drinking soup make them the best for street stalls.
Selling alcohol is prohibited at the stalls.
If you want to drink, you have to go to a specialized place for that.
They sell alcohol at the Adventurers’ Guild’s bar, so bars are not that rare.
However, whether women can enter comfortably is a different issue.
After finishing our snack spree, I decided to join the two who were going to check their equipment and get my equipment checked as well.
We were all heading to Gleam of Molten Iron.
I’ve been relying on them since the White Rank, and their selection is extensive, plus it’s reasonably priced, so I have no plan to switch to another blacksmith at the moment.
While their selection is aimed at Black and Blue-ranked adventurers, if you bring your own materials, they can make equipment that satisfies even Red-ranked adventurers.
Though we don’t need such equipment yet.
“Hmm. Ulla’s mace is a bit bent. I will have to sharpen Elsa’s short spear a bit.”
“How much will it cost?”
“It’s not much work, so 200 Rubies for both is fine.”
“Alright, please.”
“Mine too, please.”
“Sure. Come pick them up in the evening.”
Ulla’s and my equipment was done.
Shellche’s equipment, however, will apparently take more time.
I wonder what’s going on?
Ulla went to check.
“Shellche, what’s wrong?”
“Well, it seems the magic circuit in my staff has started to burn out… I was suggested it’s better to replace it than to repair.”
“And you were troubled by that?”
“Yes. According to Lady Hannon, I would need to alter my habits by changing to a wand when using magic. But staves are too expensive.”
“So, a wand is the only option?”
“It seems so… it will have to do.”
After some consideration, Shellche seemed to have bought a wand.
We will probably have to spend some time hunting weak monsters to get her used to her new weapon.
After leaving Gleam of Molten Iron, the three of us headed straight to the Spider’s Silken Cloud.
Ulla and Shellche were getting their equipment checked, but I have a slightly different reason…

“Ulla and I came to get our equipment checked. We fought against Hobgoblins, so our gear got a bit damaged.”

It seems the repair costs were 300 Rubies for Ulla and 130 Rubies for Shellche.
Considering they were purchased for 1200 Rubies, it’s quite affordable.
Additionally, magic tailoring repairs make the equipment as good as new, so it’s a good deal.
Unlike other stores, this shop can repair equipment bought here.
That’s another advantage of this shop.
The fact that it’s exclusively for women also makes it comfortable for us to enter.
“And what about you, Elsa? Don’t you need anything checked?”
“I’m fine. More importantly, Senior, there’s something I’d like to ask.”
“I’m not really a senior, you know. My main role is as a merchant.”
