Let me be clear.
Hunting with Ulla and Shellche was easy.
Although it was hunting grounds I don’t usually visit, the two of them were accustomed to it.
In the past, they used to use maces and beat them together, but now Shellche used magic to lure them out, and Ulla finished them off with a mace.
As for me, I just give orders to the Rockwolves to search the surroundings and keep watch.
If the Angry Chickens were chased towards us, Cole and I dealt with them, but Ulla and Shellche handled a good portion of the kills, too.
To be honest, it took less than an hour to collect the amount we needed to bring back.
“Ah, hunting is much smoother with you, Elsa. If it’s just us, we have to start from finding the Angry Chickens.”
“That’s true. Besides, the two of us alone can only bring back two Angry Chickens. I’m sorry to point this out, but even as a baggage carrier, Elsa is excellent.”
Yeah, right now, the Rockwolves each had two Angry Chickens in bags on their backs.
I was also carrying one, so we’ve collected quite a bit.
That’s the thing about monsters; even if you overhunt them, their numbers don’t seem to decrease.
After informing the Adventurers’ Guild at the Vardmoi Gate that we have a large amount of dismantling material and surprising them, we decided to enter through the back door.
At the dismantling area on the back side, the dismantlers were energized at the sight of the game we brought.
“You guys! We’ve got a massive delivery of Angry Chickens! Don’t waste a single feather!”

… For now, it seems like the massive dismantling was going smoothly.
Angry Chicken seem to be a popular and sell out quickly no matter how much comes in, so they were quite motivated.
I’ve never had Angry Chicken meat because it’s only served in high-end stores.
I’d like to try it sometime.
Since the dismantling takes quite a bit of time, we received dismantling number tags and went outside.
After completing the subjugation report for Angry Chickens at the Adventurers’ Guild reception, I quickly left the guild with Ulla and Shellche.
Hmm, the stares directed at us never seem to stop…
“Elsa, what should we do for lunch?”
“Hmm, how about going to a place where adventurers don’t usually go? Those stares from them are a bit…”
“I understand. Since I’m a magic user, I’ve been constantly surrounded by those stares too…”
“Hahaha… then, let’s go to a café on the main street. We can fill in what’s missing with snacks from street vendors.”
Led by Ulla, we headed to the main street.
Beautiful shops were lined up, as expected.
Of course, there were many shops that refused entry to low-level adventurers…
Ulla quickly decided on a shop and went in.
It seems like it was the first time for Shellche as well.
However, I didn’t know if familiars were allowed inside, so I had Cole and the others wait in a place where they wouldn’t disturb the shop.
“Welcome. Have you decided on your order?”
The waiter arrived.
Dressed sharp, he looked quite cool.
“Hot Chili Burger and Ginger Water, one each.”
“I’ll have the same. What about you, Elsa?”
“Huh? Well, then, I’ll…”
“Excuse me, customer. The Hot Chili Burger is quite a spicy dish. It can be quite painful. Are you sure?”
Spicy food, huh…
Well, my dad’s shop handled it to some extent, so I should be fine.
“I’m sure. Thank you.”
“Understood. Three Hot Chili Burgers and three Ginger Waters coming right up.”
While waiting for lunch to be served, I asked Ulla and Shelche about where they had been up until today.
Apparently, there was damage to crops by goblins in a village two days away on foot.
It’s odd for crop damage to occur at this time of the year, deep into autumn, but they found that goblins were breaking into storage sheds, ransacking crops.
At that point, Schellche judged that these weren’t ordinary goblins, and depending on the loot from the defeated goblins, she negotiated with the village chief for an increase in the reward.

Even though it was close to dusk that day, they decided to push a bit and confirm the appearance of the goblins.
From the depths of the forest, around 8 goblins and two hobgoblins that were two head-lengths taller appeared.
It was at that point, Schellche realized that there were two hobgoblins, so she tried to reconsider the strategy, but Ulla apparently rushed in without thinking.
In that situation, Schellche couldn’t just stand by, so she focused on immobilizing the hobgoblins with magic.
While the regular goblins were quickly taken down by Ulla, hobgoblins, being of a higher rank, were challenging to defeat.
However, by persistently attacking, they managed to break both hobgoblins’ legs, rendering them immobile.
After that, it was just a matter of carefully reducing their health while avoiding attacks.
In the end, despite the hard schedule of reaching the village and defeating the goblins in a single day, they succeeded in exterminating the goblins.
Then, they spent a few days confirming the absence of survivors and exterminating some remaining goblins, completing the request.
It seems it was quite an adventure for the two of them.
They also mentioned that if their equipment wasn’t high-quality, they might not have made it.
As they were explaining, the Hot Chili Burgers and Ginger Waters were brought to the table.
The Hot Chili Burger seemed to be a dish with thin meat and red beans sandwiched between bread.
Ulla and Schellche seemed to enjoy this easy-to-eat dish.
They were eating it with satisfaction, so it must be delicious.
