Everyone was as lively as ever.
The Parfes by the fence let out excited cries, and the rest of the herd quickly caught on.
Those who had been lounging about came trotting over one after another.

“Indeed. You lot—no troubles here?”

“Guggoo! (The food’s tasty, so we’re fine!)”

“Gugugguu! (The Saltas are always nearby, so we feel safe!)”

“Googugguu! (No monsters around, so we can sleep great!)”

For wild Parfes, this must feel like paradise—safe and peaceful.
Even though the ranch was located outside Vardmoi, it was close enough that monsters hardly ever came by.
And if any suspicious person tried approaching, they’d get caught in the traps set up by the Kiblinki Saltas.
No poisonous plants blowing in like in their old habitat, and they’ve got Saltas watching over them—it’s a much better environment all around.

“Lady Lily, have you encountered any difficulties in raising the Parfes?”

“Not particularly. If I had to name one issue, it’s that there aren’t enough of them, so we can’t send any to other regions outside Vardmoi.”

“I see—so you mean agricultural support across multiple areas.”

“Yes. If we spread them out too much, we couldn’t keep up the visitor ranch or milk production.”

“In that case, we’ll put out a call for volunteers on the Isles of the Eight Gods and send them here. They may be uneasy at first, but once they realize how comfortable life is here, more will likely want to emigrate.”

Oh! So new Parfes will be arriving soon?
That’s wonderful news.

Of course, to bring them over, we’d need tamers—wild monsters can’t just cross the sea on their own.
If I went myself, that’d be quickest, but honestly, I don’t have the time.
I already have to go pick up new Kiblinki Saltas soon, so my schedule’s tight as it is.

Fortunately, the Isles of the Eight Gods offered to prepare tamers for the sea crossing.
I’ll happily take them up on that.
The Parfes were thrilled when they heard new friends would be joining them, too.
As long as I’ve got enough contract capacity left, I’ll welcome as many as I can.
I can’t wait for the new arrivals!
