Parfe Ranch Experience with Fanny and Juna
Fanny and Juna came to my mansion the next day.
The last one, Lana, is supposed to arrive in about a week.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of person she is.
Well, that aside, since they’re going to be my escorts, I want them to get to know my tamed monsters too.
What I mean is, besides Talat and Kiblinki Saltas, who are at my mansion, I wanted to introduce them to the Parfes.

So, even from the Parfes’ perspective, being able to fight a Kiblinki Saltas makes someone impressive.
That just shows how strong and respected Kiblinki Saltas are.
“… Lady Lily, you can understand what these cow-like monsters are saying?”
“I can hear them, yes. They’re my tamed monsters.”
“Then, the tamed monsters you wanted to show us today are these ones?”
“Yes. They’re called Parfes. They even pull sightseeing Parfe carriages in the city of Vardmoi now, so you may have seen them.”
“… Ah, those cows. They left a strong impression, pulling that ridiculously large carriage with just two of them. But… is that really safe?”
“What do you mean by safe?”
“… I’ve heard that if you overwork tamed monsters, they stop listening.”
“Oh, it’s fine. The Parfes actually seem to love working. Even pulling those sightseeing carriages, two of them together find it pretty easy and enjoy it. In fact, among the Parfes, there’s a waiting list to take turns pulling the carriages.”

Well, normally, no one would want to do something that tiring.
But for the Parfes, it seems fun.
After working, eating grass on the plains, and lying down to rest feels absolutely wonderful for them.
… Are they workaholics?
“By the way, Lady Lily, is it alright if I touch them?”
“Of course, Juna. Just don’t pet them too hard.”
“Alright! … Oh wow, this texture is addictive.”
“Goo-goo! Goo! (That tickles! But it feels nice!)”
Yep, looks like the Parfes are enjoying it too.
Before I noticed, Fanny was already picking grass from the meadow and feeding it to one of them.
It seems their first contact went very well.
I think I’ll let them spend a little more time experiencing this.
