"A Serene Dress Like a Forest."
Starting today, I’ll be working on the fifth dress: "A Serene Dress Like a Forest."
I already have a rough idea of how it should look.
Since I have free rein over the silhouette, I’ll go with a princess dress.
The bodice will represent the leaves of the trees, while the skirt will embody the flowers and grasses of the forest.
Yep, this will be simple.
Little Bern can distinguish subtle differences in color, making her a truly rewarding customer to design for.
Not to mention, she’s adorable.
To enhance that cuteness, the right accessories will be essential.
Alright, time to place an order.
"So, that’s why you came to me?"
"Yeah. When it comes to accessories, you know best, Anny."
"Well, of course. I’m an accessory artisan. Matching them to clothing is part of the craft."
"Who taught you that?"
"... Rajah did. Geez, stop asking."
Anny’s blushing.
She’s really mellowed out lately.
But rather than teasing her, I should get down to business.
"Hmm, so this is the dress?"
"Yep. The theme is 'A Serene Dress Like a Forest.'"
"It does capture the stillness of a forest. You’re seriously talented at making clothes."
"Well, I try. Anyway, I wanted to ask you to create some matching accessories. Specifically, a bird resting in the shade and a rabbit accessory."
"You even have specific requests. Alright, the bird will be a pendant on a necklace. But how should I do the rabbit...?"
Huh, wouldn’t a brooch work?
I asked, but she shot me down, saying it was too predictable.
Now that I think about it, I’ve used that idea before.
"... Alright, I’ll ask a leather artisan I know to make a shoulder pouch. We’ll emboss a rabbit design onto the leather belt, and I’ll craft a silver rabbit clasp for the pouch. How’s that?"
"That sounds amazing!"
"Great. Then, let’s make it official—I’ll go grab a contract."
Whenever I work with Anny or Rajah, we always draft contracts.
Without one, disagreements could arise over who said what.
Anny found it annoying at first, but she got used to it quickly.
She’s really grown.
The accessory pouch was delivered in just a week.
Since the recipient was the daughter of Marquis Vardmoi, the artisan prioritized the order.
I also picked up the necklace from Anny, then delivered everything along with the dresses that had been waiting for their accessories.
Little Bern was absolutely thrilled!
This is what makes being a craftswoman so fulfilling.
With this, the orders are complete.
Maybe I can finally take a little break.
What do you think about this chapter?
Wonder if little Bern will end up learning magic tailoring under Lily? She certainly seems like she would go well with her
Mc went to check with lil Bern a lot. I wonder if she simply forgot about asking everything first or just that's how she works, one project at a time.
Thanks for the multi release! Awesome translation! May God bless you!
Thanks for the treat.
