The Future of the Galette County
A week has passed since my return from the Galette County lands.
The compensation owed by Lord Sharon on behalf of Modwoir from the Galette family has been paid.
While Modwoir was disinherited, he didn’t gain freedom—instead, Young lady Conniette, who took control of the domain’s governance, held him accountable for his actions and had him executed.
Additionally, Modwoir’s mother was executed as well, under the pretext of embezzling funds meant for domain operations.
Nobles can be terrifying.
The other captives were sold as criminal slaves.
The proceeds from this sale came to me, but considering the ominous nature of the money, I handed it over to Young lady Conniette.

According to information from Alizée, magic vehicles for road construction were en route to the Galette County, and things appear to be progressing smoothly—aside from the Galette Count family’s transition from being retainers of the McFarlane Dukedom to retainers of the Vardmoi Marquisate.

With the turmoil surrounding the Connies tree resolved, Young lady Conniette still has her hands full for the future.

Yeah I also think MC is softhearted, but in two meanings. She is making some distinction between people but mostly she is considering them normal and equal(-ish). Sadly that's wrong and very unfair to those that actually force themselves to not be criminals and abusers as they get treated in her mind too similarly with criminals. Moral discussion aside, the young noble lady might not have a hard time finding partners, since she's very close to MC, and there should be many who know what she can do and who is her pet.
