The Long-Awaited Seafood Set Meal
“La-Poedanu-Kissar! {Welcome!}”
Huh? It’s a voice I’ve never heard before, but I understand what it means.
Ah, this must be the goddess cheat kicking in again after a while.
I wonder if they can understand me too?
“Hello. Can we eat here?”
“Nu? Moriho, Jinga? {What was that?}”
Looks like they don’t understand my language. What should I do?
“Koriyoja. Shouhoriho {They’re asking if they can eat here.}”
“Oh, Mr. Kouro.”
“This is exactly the kind of situation I’m here for. Leave the interpreting to me.”
“Moilo! Yahoza, Mons? {Of course! Are the monsters behind you going to eat too?}”
“Mr. Kouro, what did they say?”
“They’re asking if Talat and the Kiblinki Saltas will be eating as well.”
“Huh? They can eat here too?”
“This town has many fishermen who use tamed monsters for fishing, so tame monsters are generally accepted. Although, spider monsters are probably a rare sight.”
Well, yeah, spider monsters don’t work out at sea.
I asked Mr. Kouro to arrange seats for Talat and the others too.
When I asked what they recommended, they said the seafood set meal.
It’s made with the fresh catch of the day, prepared as sashimi and grilled fish.
Sashimi!
I never thought I’d get to eat sashimi in this world!
I had Mr. Kouro place the order for me right away, but they still made sure I was really okay with it.
Apparently, people here eat raw fish because it’s a fishing town and they know how to prepare it safely, but foreigners might not be used to it.
I didn’t care about that, so I asked them to get me the seafood set meal.
Meanwhile, Amira and the others went with the grilled fish set meal.
Talat and the Kiblinki Saltas seemed willing to try the raw fish slices.
Talat aside, I was surprised that the Kiblinki Saltas were curious, but it seems they want to try it as a story to share with the others when they return from this new land.
After placing our orders and waiting for a bit, the food was finally brought out.
In front of me is a whole array of fresh fish, including sashimi.
What’s this reddish, rainbow-shimmering sashimi?
Then there’s a white, glossy one that reflects light and shines gold—what is that?
There’s also scallops that gleam like pearls.
Everything looks so divine.
As for the grilled fish, it looks like they grilled a half-moon-shaped portion.
This one looks delicious too, glistening with fat.
Altogether, it looks like a feast that only the healthy could manage to eat.
Now then, I think I’ll ask Mr. Kouro what all of these are.
What do you think about this chapter?
Do they have wasabi or soy sauce?
Thanks for the treat.
Thanks for the multi release! Awesome translation as always! May God bless you!
