Women’s Leather Armor for Sale
The situation at the Adventurers’ Guild didn’t seem great.

It seems to be beneficial for her too, so it should be okay.
After finishing the discussion, we moved to the Adventurers’ Guild.
We talked about what happened to the adventurers who were captured by the Ogres.
Even though I basically visit the Adventurers’ Guild every day, I didn’t see the faces of those adventurers I helped back then around.
They have debts at the Adventurers’ Guild, so I don’t think they are just fooling around, but I wonder what’s going on?
“Oh, about that. It’s become a bit of a problem.”
“A problem?”
“They are reluctant to sell equipment to them. More precisely, they are trying to raise the prices.”
“Raising prices. Why?”
“Well, they came back in such miserable attire, not even wearing clothes, and immediately started looking for equipment. It’s only natural to think that there’s a reason behind it. So, a merchant who spotted a business opportunity raised the prices of the equipment, and other merchants followed suit. As a result, the equipment that Green-ranked adventurers would buy has doubled in price.”
They are raising prices because they know adventurers have to buy equipment…
It might be the correct business decision, but I don’t really like it.
“Some adventurers compromised by buying the equipment that Black-ranked adventurers use, but with that level of equipment they can only fight Black-ranked monsters. To fight higher-ranked monsters, they need the right kind of equipment. Those who know that are waiting for the merchants to fold first and lower their prices.”
“I see. It’s a battle of wills.”
“In simpler terms, yes.”
It’s a bit frustrating.
I wish there was a better way to handle this.
“So, Miss Lily, I have a question. Where do the members of Wildcat Claws get their equipment? I’ve never heard of a blacksmith in this city who can work on Ogre King’s swords, at least.”
Ah, she doesn’t know about Teysa and Hannon’s shop?
It’s in a hidden location, and they don’t seem to actively promote it, so maybe that’s why.
This was a good opportunity, so I’ve pitched Teysa and Hannon’s shop, “Gleam of Molten Iron,” at the Adventurers’ Guild.
I advertised it as a place where you can find all the weapons up to the Green Rank, though I’m not sure if they’ve raised the prices themselves.
However, the receptionist didn’t seem satisfied with just that.
“Hmm, so they are blacksmiths and a woodworking and metalworking artisans, that means they only sell weapons and shields, right?”
“Come to think of it, I’ve never seen armor at Teysa’s shop.”
“Even if there were metal armor, they couldn’t afford it. Their budget is less than 10,000 Rubies.”
The Adventurers’ Guild lent them 10,000 rubies.
But it seems their budget is even less because they need something left for at least a week’s living expenses.
It’s a tough world out there.
“Do you have any idea where they can buy leather armor? Trying to challenge Green-rank monsters without armor is like sending them to their deaths.”
Leather armor, huh?

“Do you mind who the seller is?”
“Unless it’s something really suspicious. Do you have one?”
“If you are fine with something made by me, then I do.”
“Huh?”
“I’m a Magic Tailor, so I can make leather products too. As part of my training, I’ve made leather armor and such. If you’re okay with it, I can provide some. Of course, it has my magic crest on it.”
“What’s the quality like?”
“I’ll take one out, and you can check it here.”
I took out the leather armor I’ve been working on for the past few days from my bag.
It was shaped to emphasize the chest area… in simpler terms, it was women’s leather armor.
Since I’m making it with magic tailoring, it can adjust itself to fit even if the size is a little off.
Regular leather armor tends to squeeze the chest and be painful, so I tried making this.
“Uh, why is this leather armor with an emphasized chest part?”
“Yeah, it’s women’s leather armor. I’ve only made this style for now, but I can make men’s if needed.”
“Hmm… It seems well-made. Is the leather… from Forest Lizards, perhaps? It’s certainly a suitable choice for Green Ranks.”
“I actually made it with that in mind from the start. The only leather I could easily obtain was from Forest Lizards.”
“I see. We will take… 20 of these, please. How about 4,000 Rubies each?”
4,000 Rubies, huh?
Considering the amount of leather used, the material cost is around 1,500 rubies.
Yeah, that’s not bad.
“Sure, but I only have 10 on hand, so I’ll deliver the rest tomorrow if that’s okay.”
“There’s no rush. There aren’t even 10 female adventurers among those who lost their equipment. This is an investment for future female adventurers aiming for the Green Rank.”
“Got it. But if I have the materials, I can make them quickly, so I’ll bring the rest tomorrow.”
“Alright. Let’s settle the payment for today’s delivery first.”
It’s convenient that this receptionist is so quick to handle things.
But I wonder if it’s okay to buy armor solely at her discretion?
It’s the Adventurers’ Guild’s affairs, and I don’t want to stick my nose into it, but it does make me curious.
