The Third Divine Blessing
After returning from the World Tree, I checked my mana level and mana amount.

Mana Level: Water 20, Healing 12
Mana Amount: 9,879
Divine Blessings: Plant God (Growth Enhancement), Sage God (Library), [NEW] Earth God (Hot Spring)

Ding! A notification sound for a message echoed in my head. When I opened it—

[You’ve fulfilled the conditions for the third blessing. Congratulations. If you create a hot spring site within a month, your mana amount will reach 10,000.]

Wait, what? The third blessing is a hot spring?

It says to create a hot spring site within a month, so… that means *I* have to build it, right?

I *do* love hot springs. I was Japanese in my past life, after all...

But this is too sudden. And I have no idea how to figure out where a hot spring source might be. Aside from the Plant God’s Growth Enhancement, all my blessings require figuring out how to use them.

“The third blessing is the Earth God’s hot spring? Never heard of that one.”

“I wonder what it's supposed to do.”

“Creating a hot spring site within a month, huh… that sounds difficult.”

Those were my family’s various reactions.

In my past life, hot springs were said to help with skin conditions and healing illnesses. There was even something called “therapeutic bathing”. I also told them people who regularly bathed in hot springs tended to have smooth skin.

“So it's good for beauty too, then. In that case, Hardt, let’s make one on our property. No, you will make one,” my mother declared.

I really shouldn’t have said all that.

The next day, I walked around the estate.

I checked everywhere—around the mansion, the knights’ dormitory, the training grounds, the stables—but I found absolutely nothing.

I did get a divine blessing, didn’t I? Or does this mean a hot spring just can’t be made anywhere around here?

Since I couldn’t think of anything, I tried searching around my slate.

I typed in: [Blessing: Hot Spring Conditions] A hot spring button popped up on the screen, and a message appeared saying, “Press the hot spring button to download”.

What the heck, I should’ve just searched from the beginning.

I pressed the hot spring button.

The display said “Downloading...” and after a while, the update finished. A map appeared—it looked like a map of our estate.

There was a single red dot marked on it.

Is that the candidate site? I should go check it out.

The red dot turned out to be in the backyard of the mansion.

Is the hot spring source here? I checked the slate again, but there was no further information.

The next day, I checked the slate again—no new messages, and it still pointed to the backyard. Nothing had changed from yesterday.

When I complained to Brother Gerald, he suggested, “Why not go to the church and ask the Earth God for another hint?”

So I decided to give it a try.

Since this isn’t the royal capital, I figured I wouldn’t get hassled by church people, and went with Georges.

After greeting the Creator God, the Harvest God, the Sage God, and the Plant God, we headed to the Earth God’s shrine.

At first, I thought maybe I could just greet the Earth God, but skipping the others didn’t feel right, so I followed my usual routine.

I thanked the Earth God for the blessing and asked for another hint—and then I heard laughter from above. When I looked up, there was a woman who looked like the Earth God statue.

“Reinhardt, fine, I’ll give you a hint. But only if you grant one of my wishes, too.
My wish is for you to make a stained-glass window depicting the gods and hang it in this church.
As for your hint—what was the condition for receiving the third blessing, hmm? I’ll be looking forward to it~”

I didn’t want anything to do with the church, and now I’m being told to make a stained-glass window imitation? I wanted to say that was impossible, but the Earth God had already vanished.

To unilaterally demand something and disappear before I can even agree—isn’t that just unfair?

I returned to the mansion and reported to my family.

“The Earth God requested we create a stained-glass-like painting of the gods, and the hint is to think about what fulfilled the condition for the third blessing.” That was how Father summarized my report—he didn’t offer any solution.

“Hardt, what were you doing before checking your slate?” Brother Gerald asked.

“I checked it right after coming back from the World Tree.”

“”The fruit from the World Tree!”” Brother Gerald and I spoke in unison.

I went back to my room, grabbed my magic bag, and headed with my family to the red dot location in the backyard.

“Hardt, this is definitely the spot?”

“Yes, no doubt about it,” I replied. Brother Gerald dug a hole with a shovel and I placed the fruit I’d received from the World Tree into it, then we covered it with soil.

We waited for a while, but nothing happened. Was this the wrong approach?

Father said we should check again tomorrow, and as for the gods’ stained-glass image, we decided to ask Carlo to handle it.

The next day, and the day after that, we checked the backyard, but nothing had changed. I checked the slate and my messages, but there was no update.
