I looked up at the stylish house, which was a size smaller than ours, and asked Klaus, who was standing next to me with a smug look on his face.

“How did you manage to buy such a stylish house? It must have cost a fortune.”

“Not at all. It’s apparently haunted by a female ghost, so it was cheap.”

So this one also had a story behind it.
As for our house, I was told about it after the purchase, so the price wasn’t much different from.
While I was feeling absurd about it, the door opened and Klaus’ mother, Elvira, peeked out from inside.

“Welcome. Come inside.”

“Yes, sorry for intruding.”

As Klaus led me inside, I was a little surprised to see that the interior was as stylish as the exterior.
My whole family had worked on the interior of our house, but this house was far more stylish than ours.
While feeling terrible on my own, I followed Klaus as he walked in front of me and came to the living room.
The interior there was stylish and cute, and I thought I should learn from it when I heard Klaus’ voice.

“Did your mother manage the interior here? It’s really stylish.”

“Thanks. I chose it. The interior would be too outrageous if I left it to my parents, so I had no choice but to do it myself.”

“Eh.”

“Take a seat and wait.”

I was rendered speechless by his outrageous comment and sat down on the sofa as he urged.
To think I would lose to Klaus in aesthetics, am I perhaps not a woman? I need to improve in various ways——!

While I was making up my resolve, Klaus, who had gone somewhere returned, sat down beside me and handed me a teacup full of tea.

“Thank you.”

“Ou. Do you remember what I called you for today?”

“Yeah. You said you have something important to talk about, right?”

Yesterday, he told me something like that out of nowhere, so I was making preparations since early in the morning.
… If it was that, would I be able to tell him the words I prepared?

“Actually…”

“Y, yeah.”

Klaus looked nervous as he took something out of his pocket.

“I want you to join a party with me.”

“Gla… ah, yes. Sure.”

What was presented to me was a document to change the adventuring party.
Only Klaus’ name was written in the leader’s column, the rest of the columns were blank.
By the way, Klaus’s father had started another job, and he had told me earlier that he was all alone since the former members of his party had left for other countries.
It wasn’t what I was expecting, but it would be nice to be able to work together.
Klaus let out a sigh of relief.

“Thank goodness, I was worried you would refuse me.”

“Why?”

“I was thinking that you wanted to research magic or that you were looking for another job.”

I’m not able to research magic and I feel that finding a job is not that easy.
When I filled my name in the document while thinking so, Klaus happily put it back in his pocket.

“Well, I guess we’ll see when our lives are stable. You have much to look forward to.”

“Indeed… wait, what do you mean?”

I blushed and hurriedly turned my face away to hide it from Klaus, who smiled as if he knew exactly what I was thinking.
