I Want to Know More About Aqua!
[Water Rivana Hotel] 4.56★★☆☆ (6,457 reviews)

Tourist from the Royal Capital
★★★★★
It was my first time using a waterbed, and it was so comfortable I ended up sleeping for 48 hours straight.

Rivana Adventurer
★★★★★
It’s a bit pricey, but the comfort of the beds is even better than the reviews said.
Be careful not to damage it with your weapon.

A-Rank Adventurer
★★★★☆
A hotel known for its ultra-comfortable beds. I always stay here when I visit Rivana, but…
I once forgot to take off my weapon, poked a hole in the bed, and flooded the room.

“… Nngh, fuaaah… Just like the reviews said, this bed’s amazing.”

When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by a ceiling painted with fish.
We’d stayed the night at the Four Fish Hotel, famous in Rivana.
Everywhere you looked, there were fish designs, with a blue, ocean-like interior theme.
Filtered water was free to drink, showers unlimited.
And the waterbed—zero strain on the back, unbelievably comfortable.

Yesterday, we probably discovered an ancient labyrinth.
The map had expanded nicely, but we couldn’t find the entrance.
It was late, so we decided to get a hotel—and now here I was, just waking up.

“Alright, first, breakfast—huh!?”

“… Zzz… Zzz…”

I realized a golden-haired elf was peacefully sleeping next to me—Aqua, fast asleep.
Her shirt was slightly open, showing her shoulder.
Wait… why… oh, right.

I’d planned for each of us to have our own room, but only two rooms were available.
Milfie and Aqua paired up, but Milfie must’ve fallen asleep quickly on the waterbed, and Aqua wandered into my room.
I could hear Milfie mumbling through the wall, and the Guide Map showed she was still in bed.

Come to think of it, Milfie’s a catfolk.
And cats… well, they love sleeping.
I remember something about the word “neko” coming from “neko-yanagi,” meaning sleeping child.

But more importantly—

“Okay, nice and slow, Tabito…”

I carefully draped the blanket over her and backed away.
Milfie was the cute type, but Aqua had this overwhelmingly beautiful face.
Blonde hair and blue eyes… that elf beauty really hit hard.

“Nngh…”

“… G-Good morning.”

Just as I touched her shoulder to cover her with the blanket, Aqua woke up.
This… this looked really bad.
If it were Milfie, she’d already be shouting, “meowh, what are you doing, meow!?”

“N-No, Aqua, it’s not what you think—”

“Good morning. You were just covering me up, weren’t you? Thank you.”

Before I could explain, Aqua replied without changing expression.
Then, when she stood up, a thin, white one-piece came into view.

“G-Good morning!? Y-Your clothes!?”

“My clothes? Are they dirty? Should I go freshen up?”

“Ah—no, that’s not—yes, go ahead!”

Without a hint of concern, Aqua walked straight to the shower room.
No shame whatsoever… unless we’re talking magic, I really didn’t get her.
I mean, I trust her as a comrade, but I’d love for her to regain her memories soon.

“Because… well, you know…”

I bet I had some amazing memories being the only guy surrounded by girls.
Hehe… hehehe—

“Tabito, I forgot my towel. Could you get it for me?”

Then Aqua poked her head out of the door, just barely concealed, her wet hair glistening and making my heart skip a beat.

“C-Coming right up!”

Maybe remembering everything wouldn’t be so easy on my heart…
Especially with Aqua.

Anyway, we had a lot to do today.
We couldn’t find the entrance at Karina Square, so we’d start by asking the locals if anything unusual was going on.
That would help fill out the Guide Map too—two birds with one stone.

But first, I had to go get Milfie.

“… meowa… so sleepy… the bed’s too comfy… just five more minutes, Tabito…”

I’d gotten ready and gone to Milfie’s room, but she answered the door basically in her underwear.
Rubbing her eyes, hair a total mess, she stumbled back to bed.

We’d just spent days on a boat, but the bed must’ve been too good to resist.
Still, it was important to respect her feelings too.
Traveling builds up fatigue—sometimes, the best thing is just sleeping in.

“Alright, just us two today, Aqua.”

“Yes.”

That’s when I realized—it was our first time alone together.
It’s normal on a journey, but I was still nervous.
Aqua didn’t talk much. Milfie always spoke her mind, making it easy to chat.
Aqua was the total opposite.

As we stepped outside, the morning sun was dazzling.
Rivana had this unique thing—everywhere you went, you could hear the sound of water.
Not in an annoying way—more like the soothing sound of waves.

“Tabito.”

Aqua called out in her usual calm tone, gazing at me with those clear eyes.
W-What? What’s going on?

“I really want to find the ancient dungeon.”

That’s what she said.
She might’ve been quiet, but her heart wasn’t closed off.
She felt the same way I did.

That realization made me relax.
The tension eased out of my body.

“Yeah. Let’s explore, ask around, and see what we find.”

“Yes!”

Through this journey, I’m definitely going to get to know Aqua even better!
