If We Have a Guide Map, We Might be Able to “Catch a Ton” of Fish!?
“Whoa, amazing. So this is the fish market, huh?”
“So many fish, meow~”
“It’s all wet and splashy.”
The next morning, early dawn.
We slept at a good inn that had a fish bed and fish pillow.
Just like the reviews said, the room was spacious and quiet.
It cost a fair bit, but the benefits were worth it.
Of course, we could use as much water as we liked, and there was even a bath.
The tub wasn’t that big, but a hot soak after so long felt really great.
Our boat reservation was for the afternoon, so we decided to do some sightseeing to kill time.
This, too, is one of the joys of traveling.
“What do you mean by splashy…?”
“The ground is.”
I see, so that’s what she meant.
Sometimes Aqua says stuff that sounds a little... suggestive.
Well, not that I’m thinking anything weird.
“Step right up! Fresh Ostrian Paccia here!”
Then, there was this guy selling an absurdly huge fish in front of a crowd.
It looked kinda like a bluefin tuna.
Actually, it might’ve been even bigger than that.
“One gold coin!”
“No, two gold coins!”
“I’ll pay three gold coins!”
Seems like business is booming.

I was shocked reading the reviews.
My mouth hung wide open.
“Mister Tabito, what’s wrong?”
“It happens sometimes, meow—”
“You can fish here! Fish, I tell you! FISH!”
“Wha—why are you suddenly yelling!?”
“So-so full of energy…”
“I love fishing more than eating three meals a day!”
… Okay, that was a lie, but I do like it a fair bit.
Even while traveling, I fished from time to time. I often did it in Japan too.
To think I could actually do it in another world…
And then, in my head, a little lightbulb probably went “ding”.
What if… the guidebook reacts to fishing too?
… I want to try it.
And if possible, I want us all to have fun together.
But I wonder if the girls will enjoy it.
They’re girls, after all. They might be scared of the bait, like worms (if those even exist here).
“Do we just defeat the fish or something?”
“Probably something like that. We’ve got plenty of mana, so it should be fine.”
“I’m good to go too~! So, where are they!?”
I take it back—there’s no way they’ll be scared.
