Legend of Rosarin
A certain royal’s Point of View

It was truly mysterious. Moving paintings, gliding smoothly as if they were alive. And a song that stirred the very soul. I had never heard a song like this before. We sometimes invite bards, but their songs are usually slow and drowsy.

When the song ended, words were projected onto the wall. Let’s see... "This story is partially fiction. Please enjoy it with a light heart."

Fiction? What does that mean? As I tilted my head in confusion, the story began.

A young girl was traveling atop a large beast, moving through what seemed to be a castle.

"This is the story of a certain young lady. The tale of the Meat Saintess."

The story started with the girl going on a trip with her classmates. Apparently, it was a prize from their sports festival. This kind of thing occasionally happens at noble schools, but normally, the highest grade would win such a reward. However, the girl and her friends were still quite young. It felt strange, but I focused on the story.

Then came the Great Tsunami that struck Wolfanea, their destination. Even though I understood it was just a painting, the sheer impact was overwhelming. Despair took form and came surging in. Yet, in that desperate moment, she stood up.

"This is an emergency! A Great Tsunami is coming! A rough estimate—there are about ten thousand! This is a large-scale disaster!"

At her words, the knights of Wolfanea were thrown into panic. It was understandable. The situation was dire.

"If you have time to panic, then go fetch the person in charge! I have a way to break through this!"

What a reliable young girl. Dignified and beautiful.

Spurred by her command, the knights of Wolfanea hurried off.

A blond-haired boy looked at her. He, too, stood tall, unwavering like the girl. While the other boys and girls turned pale with fear, it was inevitable.

The older boys were tense.

"… Rosarin, can you save this country?"

The golden-haired boy spoke to her. She thought for a moment before nodding. A label appeared over the boy: "Christia's Second Prince, Aldin."

"… Hmmm, I think I can. If I don’t have to be picky about the methods."

"… Duke’s daughter Rosarin Rosenberg."

"Yes?"

"I won’t question the means. Save Wolfanea."

"… As my lord commands."

The girl—no, the young Meat Saintess and hero, Rosarin-sama—bowed like a knight.

"Aldin!?"

An older boy called out in alarm. A label appeared over him as well: "Christia's First Prince, Alphage."

Rosarin-sama glanced at the two, then swiftly took action. She pulled out a communication magic tool and began giving orders efficiently—requesting deployment of the Christia Knights, arranging a large-scale teleportation array to transport them, and contacting the Adventurers’ Guild and a hero.

In times of crisis, one’s true worth is revealed. Rosarin-sama was brilliant—almost too brilliant for her age.

"I brought the person in charge!"

The one who arrived was still a young beastman boy. His label read: "Wolfanea’s Third Prince, Juties."

For a brief moment, Rosarin-sama’s eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly composed herself and summarized the situation for the young prince.

"We owe Christia a debt… but now isn’t the time to dwell on that. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your assistance."

"Don’t thank me, thank my lord. It was his order."

"If someone is in trouble, helping them is only natural."

Prince Juties flinched slightly at the pure-hearted words of Prince Aldin. Indeed, it was natural to help those in need. But when it came to nations, things were never that simple.

Rosarin-sama stepped out into the castle courtyard. Or rather, to the balcony that overlooked the knights preparing for deployment.

With a voice amplified by magic, she spoke.

"Everyone, listen well! A horde of monsters is upon us! But do not fear! If we win, it’s an all-you-can-eat barbecue!!"

"… Barbecue?"

Someone’s stomach growled. Looking closely, the knights were thin, their fur dull. They must have been malnourished. The artwork captured this well. But… meat? Why meat?? Now isn’t the time for this kind of talk!

"That’s right! That many monsters means that much meat! Defeat them, and you can eat as much as you like! A dream of endless feasting!"

"Meat…?"

On the screen, the human knights were laughing hysterically. Yeah, I don’t blame them. In this crisis, calling for an all-you-can-eat meat festival is ridiculous.

"Tonight, we feast! Let the juices flow! Say it with me—meat! Meat!"

"Let’s do this!"

"Meat!!"

"Meat! Meat!"

But the Wolfanea knights… they weren’t just motivated—they were ready to kill. Their eyes shone, bloodshot with hunger. They looked like starving wolves. At this rate, they might devour the Great Tsunami itself.

The courtyard resounded with chants of meat. Against all odds, she had successfully rallied them. There was no trace of their prior despair—they were now completely fixated on meat. Was it because they were beastmen? I couldn’t understand. Just how much of this was real!?!

As I was still processing this, Rosarin-sama’s ring shone, transforming her into a silver-clad knight. Then another ring glowed with rainbow light.

It was a divine knight. But a gigantic one.

And the knight bellowed—

"ROSARIIIIN!!"

How much of this is real!? Does anyone know!? But then again, Rosarin-sama did tame superior magic beasts, command dragons, and save the world… It’s probably mostly real.

"Valkyrie, Archer Mode!!"

"ROSARIIIIN!!"

The giant knight answered her call. Or was it? Why was it just screaming her name?

Summoning a massive bow, it drew in rainbow-colored magic.

"Full magic release! All-attribute amplification, begin!"

The bow shimmered with brilliant light.

"Howl, my chuuni soul!! Fire!!"

"ROSARIIIIN!!"

Following Rosarin-sama’s command, the silver giant knight loosed a radiant magical arrow at the Great Tsunami.

Two-thirds of the wave was obliterated.

I repeat—over two-thirds were annihilated.

How much of this is real!? Did she really wipe out the majority on her own!?

"… Oof."

No, we should be the ones saying oof, Rosarin-sama! I almost yelled at the screen.

"At this point, do we even need the Knights Order? Can’t Rosarin just handle everything?"

A knight who had been laughing earlier said it outright. And honestly… it felt true.

"That’s not true! If I drink too many mana potions, my stomach gets all sloshy! And it’s exhausting!"

"… That’s it? Who cares?"

This knight was ruthless. If her only issue was a sloshy stomach and fatigue, that was a small price to pay for no casualties.

Just then, Prince Juties cried out.

"Rosarin! Hurry! Yggdrasil is in danger!"

"What!?"

Checking with magic, Rosarin-sama’s face went pale. Yggdrasil was the nation’s lifeline. Of course, she was alarmed.

After leaving orders, she embraced a beautiful girl and smiled reassuringly.

"Of course! With Dirk here, losing is not an option! When I get back, we’re having a girls’ talk. No sleep for you tonight!"

"I’ll be waiting! That’s a promise!"

Rosarin-sama, hero Geraldin, and a knight beastman with black fur departed for battle.

Wait—such a young girl is heading to the battlefield!? But then again… she had already—
