The calm and leisurely atmosphere from just a moment ago instantly changed.
Lord Doyle’s expression turned serious.

“To report the results… mana ore was indeed found in the Goethel Mines. The quality is no problem, and currently Gary and the others remain on-site conducting additional investigations.”

I had thought she might be happy because the discovery of the mana ore would stabilize industry and possibly increase Lord Doyle’s chances with her, but it seemed different.
This lady truly was praising our efforts.
In other words—she’s an incredibly good person.
As Elina, Amira, and I were moved by Lady Alyssa’s kindness,
“Mana ore, huh… I’d like to see it with my own eyes sometime,”
Lord Doyle beside her lit up with curiosity.

“Hey, Justin. Is it possible to go to that mine now and confirm the mana ore directly?”
He made an astonishing proposal.
“T-the Goethel Mines!?”
“Is that a no?”
“Well, um… monsters do appear there, and complete safety hasn’t been guaranteed yet—”
“But if it comes down to it, you’ll protect us, right?”
“Ugh…”
No way.
He’s not backing down now.

“U-understood.”
“Thank you, Justin. I’ll prepare immediately.”
“In that case, I’ll go too.”
“Sounds good. Let’s go together.”

Not only I, but Elina and Amira all voiced our surprise at that.
