The Store Name
The next day.
Morning.
Maryne summoned Asha to the Flamsteed estate in the Count’s capital.
In truth, Maryne had been preparing something.
… Enhancing Asha’s appearance.
Back when the social party dress had been tailored, Asha’s measurements from head to toe had already been taken.
Using those measurements, Maryne designed Asha’s outfit for standing in the store from scratch.
First, the hairstyle.
She would stop wearing her usual semi-long hairstyle and switch to a ponytail.
But not a plain, straight ponytail.
It was a style with gentle waves at the ends, combining elegance with glamour.
For clothing, she paired a white frilled blouse with a black otherworld-style suit.
It was a custom-made suit specially ordered from a tailor in this world.
The shoulder lines were sharp.
The waist was neatly fitted…
And the bottoms were trouser-style, extending down to the ankles.
It differed from the suits of Maryne’s previous life, but the design blended naturally into this world’s fashion culture while still giving off a dignified impression.
As for footwear, pumps.
The texture of the leather gleamed elegantly.
“So this is… my uniform.”
Standing before the mirror, Asha’s eyes sparkled slightly.
Maryne spoke.
“Now then, Miss Asha. May I leave the opening of the Secondary Capital store in your hands?”
“Yes! The interior and employee training are both complete. We can open anytime.”
“As expected of you. Then let us open three days from now.”
“Three days…! Understood!”
Asha dashed off.
Maryne watched her departing back.

That night.
Rhinos asked her something.
“The grand opening is soon, correct? By the way, have you decided on the store’s name?”
“Of course.”
Maryne affirmed that, then declared:
“‘Maryne Stella’, that shall be the name of the first store in our cosmetics business!”
At that declaration, Rhinos tilted his head.
“Stella…?”
“Stella as in a ‘star.’ I chose the name because I want it to be a store that delivers beauty like the stars.”
That was how Maryne explained it.
“Stella” was a word from her previous life, not from this world’s language.
No one in this world would understand the meaning of the word Stella if asked.
So eventually, she intended to spread the meaning of Stella among her customers as well.
“I see. It’s a lovely name.”
Rhinos spoke with admiration.
“Isn’t it? I’m quite fond of it myself.”
Maryne said that with a smile.
