“Is there boar fat around?”
I glanced at Head Chef.
“We have yet to discard it, so there’s quite a lot……”

“Then, please bring all of that fat here.”
I continued.
“Then, render that fat in a pot little by little. Once that fat is melted, transfer it to a different pot.”
He seems to understand somehow.
“That melted fat is used for cooking. It will harden and turn white when it cools off, so you have to move it to another pot before that.”
After thinking for a while, Head Chef stood up as he made some kind of conclusion.
“Ojou, I will make the oil right away. Therefore, Ojou…… the potatoes……”
Don’t do your hardest just because of potatoes!
Don’t fall victim to good food, oy!
But, I understand. Delicious food is justice!
“I got it. I will instruct you on another potato dish.”
Then, when I looked at Grandpa Tom he nodded.
“I’m going to do it!”
The passionate man (Head Chef) who was full of motivation disappeared and quickly appeared with a cauldron full of milky white fat.
I’m expecting lots of lard for many deep-fried food possibilities.
“Grandpa Tom, please bring more potatoes. I will help you.”
Thus, Grandpa Tom and I returned to our secret garden.
For potatoes! For justice!

Me? I was sizing the other plants.
Garlic and chili pepper.
Would it be good even without Olive oil?
Deep-fried on lard and sprinkled with salt!
Croquettes……… potatoes with ground meat……… Panko should be somehow manageable too……… but, with only salt………
