Pochi’s forced grand adventure.
Pochi’s Point of View

Previously: The Rosenberg twins told me about the beautiful places Jend’s father had taken them to. I said I wanted to go too.

And now, here I am, being carried—no, more like hoisted—by Jend’s masked father.

“Wahahahaha! I shall grant your wish!!”

“…Wish?”

“For the sake of our master—no, I mean, Rosarin-sama—you want to create something magnificent, don’t you? You wish to see beautiful places! Fear not, for the Wolfanea Mask shall guide you to the best spots!!”

“… Why are you wearing a mask, Jend’s father?”

“Don’t be so distant, call me Papa… no, wait! I am Wolfanea Mask!”

What do I do? This conversation is barely making sense. The twins shook their heads at my confusion.

“When he’s dressed like that, he’s Wolfanea Mask.”

“A Hero’s identity is a secret, so it’s good manners to pretend you don’t know.”

It seems even the Rosenberg twins are careful not to upset him. I’m definitely telling Jend about this later.

“Wolfanea Mask, take us to the Azure Cavern that Uncle Geraldin showed us!”

“Wolfanea Mask, take us to the flower field too!”

“Wahahahaha! Leave it to me!”

“”Kyahahaha!!!””

With a booming laugh, Jend’s father took off running, carrying me on his right shoulder and the twins on his left.

“W-Wait, we’re running there!?”

“No, we’re teleporting!”

Phew, at least the travel method seemed reasonable.

Or so I thought. I was such a fool.

“Wahahahahahaha!!”

“”Kyahahahahaha!!””

“Waaahhhhh!!”

We barreled through a monster-filled cave, with Jend’s father causing chaos.

Meanwhile, the twins perfectly supported him—Lucius burning monsters and Lucille freezing them. As expected of the Rosenbergs—or rather, Rosarin Oneechan’s siblings.

Finally, we reached our first destination. Crystals and a hot spring illuminated in a shimmering blue… It was breathtaking.

I immediately started sketching and designing a stained-glass pattern. Lucius kindly lit up my work area. While no monsters could enter this spot, I couldn’t help but notice the death cries echoing in the background. I’m guessing tonight’s dinner will be a feast.

Next, I was carried to the next location. The journey was thrilling—nearly getting bitten or falling a few times.

The seven-colored flowers were more stunning at night, so we visited another beautiful spot during the day.

“Wow…”

A waterfall creating countless rainbows—it was mesmerizing. I quickly sketched the scene. However, the ever-present death cries made me uneasy. Monsters seemed to roam this area freely. It was gorgeous, but I couldn’t relax!

Gradually, I began to adapt to being carried everywhere. People are resilient creatures, after all. That’s a lie. While I got somewhat used to Jend’s father’s relentless pace, no one told me about the boss-level monsters we’d encounter!

“Wahahahahaha!!”

“”Kyahahahahaha!!””

“Waaahhhhh!!”

Jend’s father was absurdly powerful. Even the boss-like monster was defeated in one kick. How is this normal? He’s way too strong—it’s ridiculous.

“Tonight’s feast will be amazing! This one’s delicious!”

“”Yay~””

Watching the Rosenberg twins accept this without question, I felt certain they’d grow up to be extraordinary individuals.

We explored more beautiful places—the underwater cavern, a pond with blooming water lilies, and even the view from above the clouds. I managed to sketch countless breathtaking sceneries.

But then, disaster struck.

It happened in a moment of carelessness.

A monster collided with Jend’s father, and I was sent rolling down a hole.

A loney Pochi… No, this is no time for jokes!

S-Someone, help meee!!
