What Pochi made.
Pochi’s Point of View

I don’t really remember my real parents. I was entrusted to Ravioli-san’s house before I could understand much of anything. The reason was probably that I had an animal head. I wasn’t good at controlling my magic power, so I always had my beastly head visible. As a beastman—a group already discriminated against—I was despised by humans and even disliked by other beastmen for having an animal head.

The ones who didn’t hate me were Ravioli-san, Rabisha, Gator, Jend, and the others. As for Mary... well, Mary is just Mary. She probably didn’t understand or care, simply because she’s Mary. Jend even got injured once while protecting me.

It was Rosarin Oneechan who easily shattered those bleak days of mine.

Her first impression was unforgettable.

“Wow, so fluffy! Can I touch you? Can I fluff you!?”

She sparkled with excitement as she asked to touch my fur. No one had ever said that to me before, so I was flustered. Unlike the usual hate or pitiful pity I received, she adored me with her whole heart. She treated me as an equal, just like she treated Jend and the others.

Everyone in Rosenberg treated me kindly. They didn’t see me as a “beast-headed” boy but as just “me”. They showed me through their actions that this was natural.

We later discovered that my beastly head was just a matter of poor magic control, and Rosarin Oneechan fixed it effortlessly.

For the Oneechan who changed my world, I want to create the most magnificent decorations. Since I’ve been entrusted with making the decorations for Rosarin Oneechan’s wedding, I have to give it my all!

First, I tried asking her what she wanted.

“Anything is fine. Just don’t push yourself too hard, okay, Pochi?”

Not helpful. “Anything is fine” is actually the hardest request to fulfill. However, she did say not to make anything related to a Valkyrie or Rosarin. She might have caught wind of my plan to create a goddess statue of her, and it seems that idea got vetoed.

Left with no choice, I asked Dirk-san, the other main figure in the wedding.

“Anything is fine. Just don’t push yourself too hard, okay, Pochi-kun.”

What’s with this married couple being so alike?

Again, “Anything is fine” is the hardest. But he also told me to avoid knights and Valkyries. Seriously, they’re too similar.

I then consulted Rinka-san, who knows a lot about Rin-san, the Beneficiary and spiritual counterpart of Rosarin Oneechan.

“Well, maybe something like stained glass? Or a white rose and a red-carpeted aisle? You could decorate it with candles too, but given the scale of this event, y’know...”

Rinka-san gave me a proper suggestion. Stained glass is made by combining pieces of colored glass, and just hearing about it sounded beautiful.

“Seeing is believing!”

Rinka-san even brought photos of churches and something called “Zexy*” from another world. The decorations at those otherworldly weddings were stunning. I wanted to create stained glass too, but it seemed like we’d need to replace the windows to make it happen. To proceed, I decided to consult Saintya about how much freedom I’d have.

(*a wedding magazine)

After explaining the situation, I was suddenly granted a meeting with the Pope, the leader of Saintya, who easily gave me permission. Moreover, I received authorization to completely renovate the place for the wedding, with no restrictions.

With no limits, I can create anything I want. What kind of stained glass should I design? First, I need to brainstorm ideas.

“Pochi, I want to help.”
“Pochi, do you have any work for me?”

Rosarin Oneechan’s younger siblings, Lucius and Lucille, came to see me.

“I’m thinking of designs right now. Lucius, Lucille, do you have any ideas about something beautiful?”

“Recently, Uncle Geraldin took me to the Azure Cavern. There’s a spot surrounded by deep blue crystals, bathed in moonlight, where you can soak in the hot springs.”

“I went to a glowing flower field Uncle Geraldin showed me. There were all kinds of mysterious flowers shining in seven colors.”

“Wow, I’d love to see those places.”

They sounded stunning just hearing about them. I wanted to see them for myself. However, I’d come to deeply regret saying that so casually.
