And, as expected, it's because of Rosarin.
Fizz’s Point of View
The knights were stunned when a massive swarm of spider monsters suddenly passed through the gates without any checks. However, they immediately had a thought:
"This must be Rosarin-chan’s doing again."
Word quickly reached Fizz, the captain of the knights, who rushed to the scene.
"Stop right there!"
The spider monsters obediently came to a halt. Upon closer inspection, they were magic beasts—spiders, to be exact. Fizz recognized them as Aqua Spiders, an advanced species of Water Spiders, as he observed the swarm.
Suddenly, the troublemaking hero appeared, riding one of the Aqua Spiders.
"Captain, what’s the matter?"
"What’s the matter?! Why are you parading around with a horde of Aqua Spiders?!"
The troublemaking hero tilted his head in confusion.
"I forgot!"
It was a refreshingly blunt response. Fizz, exasperated, realized this wasn’t someone he could reason with.
Left with no choice, Fizz considered summoning the hero's master, the person responsible for him.
At that moment, a particularly large and peculiar spider emerged from the swarm.
Its upper body was that of a stunning woman, with eyes like embedded sapphires that appeared artificial. Her crystal-clear skin glowed, resembling a statue carved to mimic a human form. The lower half, however, was an enormous spider—an unmistakable aberration.
"Apologies for the disturbance."
The humanoid spider gracefully bowed. It seemed she was capable of communication. Likely a high-ranking magic beast. Though rare, it wasn’t unheard of for registered magic beasts to bring their groups into town. Still, something of this magnitude was highly unusual.
Fizz addressed the spider, assuming her to be the leader.
"Who is your master?"
"Rosarin-sama."
"Bring me the responsible party immediately!!"
Fizz's sudden outburst visibly startled the high-ranking spider. Alarmed by his shout, a knight hastily contacted Rosarin. Meanwhile, the spider, despite being visibly intimidated, earnestly apologized.
"I acted on my own accord. My Lord has nothing to do with this."
"Fine. Until the culprit arrives, explain yourself."
Fortunately, the high-ranking spider provided a coherent explanation. She had sought help from higher-ranked members of her species to create threads for Rosarin's dress but was rejected. Determined, she evolved herself into a higher species and came with her kin to produce the thread.
Typically, they would shrink down to avoid drawing attention, but in her eagerness to please her master, she had forgotten to do so.
"I see. However, you’ve caused quite a commotion in the town. I’ll have to reprimand Miss Rosarin. That said, I understand you meant no harm. I won’t scold you too harshly."
"Thank you! Thank you so much!"
The high-ranking spider repeatedly expressed her gratitude, showing genuine sincerity.
"To ease the townspeople’s concerns, shrink down and head to the Burton residence."
"Understood!"
The spiders all shrank to smaller sizes. Then, the high-ranking spider…
"Huh?"
Fizz found himself facing a beautiful naked woman surrounded by a swarm of tiny spiders. His nose began to bleed profusely before he fainted on the spot.
One by one, the knights—lacking any resistance to women—succumbed to nosebleeds. Married knights barely held their ground but, unfortunately, were caught ogling and faced wrathful wives, turning the scene into utter chaos.
"… What is this mess?"
When Rosarin finally arrived, she was horrified by the sea of blood—both from nosebleeds and physical injuries. Flustered, she hurriedly clothed the naked woman.
"My Lord, I did my best!"
"… Who are you?"
"My Lord… that’s so cruel…"
The beautiful (former spider) woman wept bitterly, leaving Rosarin in a panic as she tried to console her.
The scene was complete and utter chaos.
