An invitation to Fizz’s engagement announcement party has arrived. Finally, the engagement party is here.
I walked through the venue escorted by Dirk. It’s a buffet-style event, but the nobles were rushing to get food first. It’s quite an unusual sight... or so I thought, but it’s not so unusual for a Rosenberg or Burton party.
I’m glad I took charge of the menu, considering it might be hard for Yue-chan. The rice and Japanese cuisine promotion plan is progressing well.

This party aims to officially recognize Yue-chan as Fizz’s fiancée and show that she has the backing of the Rosweide family.

A rough voice echoed. Fizz couldn’t move as Yue-chan was taken hostage.

The man was likely a remnant of the bandits. How did he manage to get past the security?

Yue-chan struck the man’s side and stomped on his foot with her high heel. As he faltered, she revealed the hidden feature of her skirt—it was actually a wrap skirt designed to be easily removed, revealing a slitted skirt underneath in a cheongsam style. Like a famous sexy heroine, Yue-chan had a garter belt with weapons concealed under the skirt. She knocked the man out with a sheathed dagger and began taking down the other assailants.

Milfi was furious too. Since my weapon might be too dangerous, I used a crossbow (foldable) and magic hidden in her skirt. Milfi’s princess line dress turned into a mini skirt when the wrap was removed. Rabisha-chan, who wore the same type of dress, found hers unusually heavy due to the hidden pockets in the petticoat.

Rinka’s princess line skirt also had the cursed staff hidden in it. She supported Dirk, Cider-kun, and Fizz with support magic while protecting the nobles with barriers.
Once all the bandits were captured, I made a bold declaration. Only a god-level opponent could defeat this team.
"Ladies and gentlemen, how did you enjoy the entertainment?"
It was a blatant lie.
However, having bandits crash the engagement party would be disgraceful for Fizz and the Rosweide family. I didn’t want Yue-chan’s hard work to go to waste because of this.
I desperately tried to cover it up. Dirk nodded understandingly. Being connected in such situations is very useful.
"In fact, today we are presenting the revolutionary latest dress from Butterfly Rose, with our lovely Yue-sama as the model."
The trick to a good lie is to mix in some truth.

However, Milfi and Yue-chan, understanding my intent, stood by me as models. Rinka was fumbling a bit. Silly girl.

The dress was extremely well-received. Thanks to the distraction I created, the bandit incident was brushed off as mere entertainment. The party proceeded without further issues, and Yue-chan’s engagement party ended successfully.
Moreover, the leg-revealing dress design became a trend in Christia, leading to an increase in leg enthusiasts, but that’s another story.
