Please make me a lady! (Manners Party Edition)
"Party manners are best learned through practice. You need to identify your weaknesses by actually participating and learning from experience. Once you get used to it, you can recover from mistakes, and it's important to understand what you're not good at."
With that in mind, we decided to hold a home party at the Burton residence (main house) that closely mimics a formal debut party.
Some nobles expressed their interest in joining the event, having somehow heard about it. Having external participants helps maintain a certain level of tension that might be lacking with only close acquaintances.
Even though it was primarily a family-centered party, we couldn’t afford to be negligent. This was an important opportunity to showcase the wealth of the Burton territory and promote our products. And the highlight of the event was, of course, the new item.
"Is Fizz going to attend the party?"
"He said he would."
"I've asked Dietz-kun to handle the finer details. For the major parts, please rely on Fizz."
"Understood."
The day of the party arrived quickly. As the host, I made rounds of greetings while being escorted by Dirk. Dirk looked exceptionally handsome today. Just a moment ago, he shyly said, “You look very beautiful today, Rosarin. I almost want to whisk you away and keep you all to myself.” Eek!!
I almost blurted out, “Please, my darling, take me away!” Dirk, my husband, is too handsome to handle! We’ll have a romantic moment later, for sure!
A handsome couple entered amid the buzz of the party. Fizz and Yue-chan, with Dietz-kun in tow. Dietz-kun was so good at blending in that it was as if he wasn’t even there.
While everyone was curious about who Yue-chan was and her relationship with Fizz, Yue-chan drew a lot of attention in her ice-blue mermaid line dress. It suited her slender figure perfectly. Her hair, which had grown longer since coming here, was beautifully styled, adorned with lily flower decorations. The white lilies contrasted beautifully with her black hair.
The dress also featured the same lily motif, giving it a pure and delicate impression. This dress, in fact, was a new product from “Made in Rosarin.” It’s a no-corset dress!
I wanted to do away with uncomfortable corsets but still achieve a beautiful body line. This dress is a dream, combining functionality, comfort, and beauty!
The only potential issue might be the material. The stretchy part around the waist is made from the skin of a magic creature called a Water Frog. Yes, a frog’s skin. Frogs and reptiles are not well-liked here, so it might be challenging for noblewomen to accept.
"Yue-chan, how does the dress feel?"
"It's not tight and very easy to move in."
"It's the latest creation from Butterfly Rose."
Butterfly Rose is a brand I started with Miss Butterfly, featuring clothes, underwear, and fashion accessories. Our most popular items are the special lingerie. The brand name combines Butterfly and Rosenberg to form Butterfly Rose. Even my mother occasionally designs for it.
By the way, Rinka and Milfi are also wearing no-corset dresses, but theirs are sweet lolita-style princess line dresses. The frills and lace add volume, so even without a corset, they look great and cute.
Personally, I think it suits people with a less pronounced figure or those who are a bit chubby.
"My goodness, is that the latest from Butterfly Rose!?"
A lady, Countess Celesta, eagerly approached. Yue-chan seemed quite taken aback.

I underestimated the nobility. Despite being told it was made from frog skin, Countess Celesta gracefully wore a purple, sexy-style dress made from the same material as Yue-chan’s. This dress had a secret feature. When I revealed it, she smiled seductively.
"I shall use it to seduce my husband! And I’ll order several of these dresses!"
Thanks to her active promotion, the frog-skin dress became highly popular, making Miss Butterfly extremely busy afterward.
We also had dresses made with a special stretchy weave using Wolfnaean silk for the general public, but these were expensive and not as comfortable as the frog-skin version. The frog is truly formidable!!
Finally, after being freed from Countess Celesta, I noticed Yue-chan being bombarded with questions. Milfi and Fizz seemed to have been helping her out, but...
"Yue-sama is so wonderful..."
"Yue-sama..."
Something was off. I thought it best to avoid getting involved and headed toward Dirk, but was promptly intercepted.
"Rosarin, won’t you join us?"
It felt like a refusal wasn’t an option. Apparently, Yue-chan had inadvertently converted Fizz’s female fans into her own fans. Yue-chan, you’re amazing!
Thus, Yue-chan’s first party ended with her gaining many admirers.
Ninja-like Dietz-kun reported afterward.
"In terms of party manners, there were no major issues. However, the conversations between you… were a bit too familiar, which could be borderline inappropriate at a formal party."
"I see."
For the time being, I decided to maintain a more formal tone with Yue-chan. After teaching her how to converse with awareness of social hierarchies, the practical party manners session concluded.
