Dirk’s Point of View
When I woke up, Rosarin was gone.
Her side of the bed was already cold, so it must had been some time since she left. This had never happened before, so I was stunned for a while.
I came to my senses and hurriedly searched the house, but she was nowhere to be found. There was no note either. However, one of her pair of shoes was missing, so she must have gone outside.
I was about to go outside to look for them when I heard someone knocking. Maybe Rosarin has come home! I opened the door with vigor, but it was Curtis, Adeil, Hugh, and Fizz. I was disappointed.
“Yo, Dirk. We brought you a wedding gift... why do you look so down?”
At any rate, I asked them all to come into the lounge and served tea.
Curtis, Adeil, and Hugh are still doing well as Royal Knights. Fizz had been promoted to a Unit Commander. Sometimes we go out for a drink together.

Adeil, Hugh, Fizz, and I spoke up in that order... all of us with cramped faces. If my patience blew up...... there's nothing but a catastrophe to follow.

Fizz may have thought he was covering for me, but I felt like he was casually delivering a finishing blow.

Curtis is Curtis, but I'm sure he thought this through in his own way.

We used to talk things over properly, but lately, we couldn't even do that because of the pheromones. Now, thanks to Rosarin, we can talk things over properly again, and we should.

Curtis, Fizz, Adeil, and Hugh were leaving.

When I waved my hand in the air, they each smiled and raised one hand back.
“You have good friends.”
“... Yeah.”
I nodded honestly. Although we have been through so much, I really do consider them great friends now.
Now then, I have to mentally prepare.
“Rosarin, I need to talk to you.”
Rosarin smiled softly and said, "Me too.”
