Magic Practice
I reread the “First Magic” book in order to learn magic.
“Magic is gathering of magical power within your body and releasing magical power while imagining a certain phenomenon.”
(Hmm, as I thought Light should be first…… it’s so dark it’s difficult to read, using the Night Vision would be fine too, but I want to look like a magician.)
I decided to try the Light attribute magic.
“U~mm, …… Illuminate the darkness with warm light――Light!”

(…… Nothing happened…… was it a failure? I collected the magical power, but……)
Nothing happened, so I looked at the book again.

(Ah…… an imagination, huh…… speaking of light, it’s a fluorescent light, right…… alright!)

This time, I tried it while properly imagining the light. And then……

A strong light lit up the room.

It appears I succeeded.
“Yay~! I did it!”
I was delighted that the Light has succeeded, but there was something I was really curious about.
That is the chant.
(It’s good that the magic came out, but…… as I thought, the chant is…… somewhat embarrassing, and the book said “the phenomenon happens with imagination,” I just have to be only conscious of the skills as well, there’s no need for a chant, is there? Is it possible that there no need for a chant with a proper imagination…… or something? Let’s give it a try)
I made a hypothesis and decided to try it.

“Light.”

I was able to make the light appear as hypothesized.

I gasp for air, feeling like I would collapse at any moment.

(Huhh? When did I fall asleep? I was practicing magic and…… ah! I have collapsed because I didn’t check my HP and MP because I was absorbed in practicing…… this is why Akari-chan calms me a clutz, huh……)

The above are magic I learned. By the way, Cave-in, Mud Marsh, Stealth, Spatial Barrier are original I thought up.
I imagined a pitfall for the Cave-in. It seems usable when escaping.
I created Mud Marsh while thinking whether it wouldn’t be possible to prevent movement with it.
I thought of Stealth when thinking of concealment. This also looks usable when escaping.
I thought of Space-time Barrier before practicing offensive magic. It’s not like I can destroy the room, and when thinking someone may come when hearing the sounds, I tried making a barrier that will cancel out the sounds and impacts from within, and also return everything that was broken into the original state.
I collapsed before learning any other magic, so I decided to check the MP consumption.
