Hiiro carried me from the bathroom to the bed.
This… feels incredibly pleasant. Our bodies pressed close together, so warm. What is this? Can we stay like this forever?
All I need now is to be able to eat the candy, and then I’m ready to die.
Clutching onto Hiiro with my right hand and leg, I looked at Hitachimaru’s military uniform pocket. The candy came from there before, right?
I want the candy. Just one more time.

Still carrying me, he sat on the sofa. Oh, this is comfortable, and we can stay close.

“No top-secret information after all? I had candy for you, though. That’s too bad, Thirteen.”
The candy was in Hitachimaru’s hand.

I seriously think it’s made up of all the delicious things in the world.
“It’s watching, it’s watching. Now, what will you do? First, try asking Lord Hitachimaru for the candy.”
“Let the boy have some candy… Why is there always candy in your pocket?”
“Otoha sends them to me. Along with letters. Well, it’s like a lucky charm.”
“Come to think of it, it’s been a while here. Want to go back soon?”
“Well, the war is over, so it won’t be long now. Do you want to go back, Your Highness?”
“… I don’t want to stay here, but I don’t particularly want to go back either.”
Snuggling up to Hiiro and listening to their conversation, I started to feel sleepy. I’ll give up on the candy. I can ask Lord Hitachimaru for candy, but I really don’t have any information from the Imperial Army.
So the war really is over, isn’t it? I see. No wonder I can’t hear orders, and I don’t hear the sounds of firearms or bombs.
