Latest model…!?
After seeing off His Highness, Oniisama, and Alicia-sama, we gathered the dishes, stored them in the inventory for the time being, and cast a cleaning spell on the entire room before returning to the special dormitory.
Even though this room in the salon building is rented by the Ellisfeed family throughout our time at the academy, we can’t just leave it smelling of spices!
That lingering scent would make me want to redecorate the place with an oriental theme.
Not that I’d actually do that, though!
If anything, I’d go for a Japanese style.
I’m really curious about how Sei’s room looks.
But as a lady, I can’t exactly visit a man’s room...
… It didn’t count with O-Sei-chan!
I didn’t know back then, so it doesn’t count!
I thought she was a girl, so it can’t be helped!
Yes, I totally did *not* see Sei in just a loincloth!

Oops, got sidetracked.
After returning to the dorm, we divided up the task of washing the dishes, and once everything was cleaned up, we all went back to our rooms.
I finished preparing for tomorrow’s classes.
We had an early dinner during the tasting event, but by nightfall, everyone was starting to feel peckish, so they all trickled down to the dining hall.
As for me, Kurogane, Mashiro, and Kaguya asked for a midnight snack, so I was in the kitchen, prepping for tomorrow’s breakfast as well.
“Oh my, is everyone hungry? I could serve some rice balls…”
Since I was already making a ton of rice balls for breakfast and for storage, I served two to Sei and Mariel-chan, and five each to the Sacred Beasts.
Well, those were supposed to be for storage, though...
I gave Ruby some carrot stick salad, and since Kaguya was left behind as usual, I gave her a higher proportion of bonito-flavored rice balls.
I asked Miria to prepare some roasted green tea, and I nibbled on a rice ball myself.
Ah, delicious.
After all the spicy dishes we’ve been eating, this is so comforting.
You know, I could live off of simple food like this.
Actually, simple food is the best. Yeah.
As I savored the humble flavors, I suddenly remembered the plans for the weekend.
“By the way, I’m planning to submit a request to go home this weekend for a tasting event. Would anyone like to join me?”
Looking around, Sei shook his head.
“I’ll pass. I don’t think I’d be much help this time. I’m planning to visit the Bastea Company this weekend.”
“Oh, then why don’t you take my family’s carriage? I can drop you off at the company.”
“No, I’ll quietly teleport there with Tora.”
“Oh… but it’s on the way, so don’t worry about it.”
“It’s not about that.”
He politely declined. What a shame.
According to Sei, even the plainest of my family’s carriages screams high-ranking nobility.
Really? It’s that obvious?
We’ve removed all the flashy gold decorations and crests, though.
“Cristea-san, even though it’s plain, that carriage is the latest model… It stands out,” Mariel-chan pointed out.
“Whaaat!?”
Now that she mentioned it, I had noticed it was very comfortable lately.
It’s like riding the latest luxury car model in my previous life.
No wonder it stands out...
“Well then, Mariel-san, how about you…?”
“I, uh… have to report a certain matter to my Father… haha…”
Oh no, Mariel-chan just turned to ash on the spot.
“But, may I ride with you? I mean, even if it’s flashy, it’s the safest option security-wise.”
“True.”
After all, we have the strongest Sacred Beasts guarding us!
Mariel-chan has become quite the popular young lady lately, so she has to be careful about potential kidnappings.
Since I’m partially responsible for that, I’ll make sure to take full responsibility for escorting her!
So, this weekend, I’m heading home!
