Reincarnated in Another World at the Age of 82!? ~I Don't Mind Having a Weak Attribute, I'll Dominate with My Skills~

Description:
Reincarnated with the memories of my past life, I am an 82-year-old grandma who loves handsome men. Even though I was born into a world with magic, I somehow received the “Null” attribute, which is generally considered a failure.

But that won’t hold me back!

I’m sure I can live just fine with my convenient skills, right? First off, the food doesn’t taste good, so why don’t I just cook it myself?

Whether it’s my family or the handsome knights, I’ll capture everyone’s heart through their stomachs. With the knowledge and skills from my past life, I’m practically unbeatable when it comes to cooking, laundry, cleaning, and more.

Prologue
[To train myself, I’m running away from home.]

With that note left behind, I ran away from the Count’s household.

In my country, it is mandatory for all citizens to receive a baptism ceremony when they turn five years old. This is when they are granted a magic attribute by the gods.

For nobles, the baptism ceremony significantly influences their future career and even their marriage prospects. There are five attributes: Fire, Water, Thunder, Wind, and Earth. These attributes make it easier to pursue professions that protect the nation, such as knights or magicians, or prestigious administrative positions. The attribute often passes down from parent to child, so it benefits the individual both in securing a job and in marriage, making them more desirable.

My family has a long tradition of producing excellent knights and magicians as Counts of the frontier. My Father was once the Vice-captain of the Knights’ Order, and my Mother was the Vice-captain of the Magician Division. Naturally, both of my brothers have been expected to become magicians or knights from a young age, with great futures ahead of them.

I, too, had been expected to receive one of the popular five attributes, and I was hopeful that I would.

—But, what I received was “Null”.

Even commoners can sometimes receive one of the five attributes, so why, out of all things, was I, a noble, given “Null”?

What the heck!!! I screamed inside as I lost consciousness.

I had a dream...

I am 82 years old.

Right now, I’m bedridden with a cold, having been stuck in bed for a whole week.

Since my son and his wife both work, I handled all the household chores.

In an era where solitary deaths are common, I’m grateful that they live with me and even help with housework. They give me about 50,000 yen a month as allowance, and not just that, they also give me bonuses twice a year.

With this allowance, I go to live concerts with my grandchild—those by a 16-member dance and vocal group that we’re both into, or sometimes to comedy shows. Occasionally, we also go to martial arts events.

At my age, it’s rather noticeable when I go to live concerts.

And it’s no surprise—there I am, an old woman in a T-shirt with the group's logo, denim jeans, and a scarf towel, also branded with the group's logo, hanging around my neck. I join the younger crowd, who are around the same age as my grandchild, and cheer and get excited with them.

Now, I’m even emailing with some of the people I’ve become friendly with at the concerts. We talk not just about the artists, but also about our problems and complaints.

Sometimes, I even teach them how to cook because I want them to surprise their parents!

I also received get-well messages and ice cream from the kids who knew I was sick. They’re such good kids…

Lying in bed, I watched the new music video from the 16-member dance and vocal group. If I fall asleep now, maybe I’ll meet my favorite member in my dreams?

Even at 82 years old, I still feel like a young girl at heart.
