Defective Kai Chairs
After leaving my subordinates to handle things after those men departed, I headed to the shop to speak with the owner.
“Is the shopkeeper here?”
“Yes, oh~ Captain Luke. What brings you here? Just keeping watch as usual? Thank you, as always, for keeping the town safe.”

After they left and I saw off my subordinate who went to follow them, I made my way to the woodworking shop they had just exited to question the owner.

Their method is being repeated to collect treatment fees. But even calling it “treatment fees,” it’s not much money.

If that kind of talk spreads, no one will buy them anymore, and only the bad reputation will remain.
Their goal… is to spread a negative image of Kai Chairs?
My doubts turned into certainty.
Those men will receive punishment befitting their crimes.
Anyone who harms the Marsh family’s business… will be dealt with accordingly.
