Certain Shamcats’ boy’s Point of View
Everyone is saying, "Run!"
They're saying, "We have to escape!"
Even someone as slow-witted as me could understand that something bad had happened.
But where are we supposed to run to?
A long time ago, back when we lived in Wolfanea, I felt this same awful presence. Just like back then, when our village was surrounded by monsters. Everyone was terrified, trembling in fear.
"Another Great Tsunami!? We went through all that trouble moving from Wolfanea!!"
Okaasan was angry. It hurt—Okaasan, your nails are digging into me.
The Great Tsunami… that means lots of monsters are coming, right? They're back again?
"If you dawdle, you'll die! Come on!!"
Okaasan, with a terrified expression, pulled me along, forcing me to run. She was carrying a lot of luggage. Okaasan was desperate too. I did my best to keep up.

I've seen them before. Even someone as slow-witted as me remembers.
They're the ones who saved our village!
"Mama, it's Rosarin!!"
Yes! A radiant white Rosarin stood at the castle of the Shamcats! Huh? There was also a black Rosarin. They must have come to help!
We're saved! Rosarin is strong! And if there are two of them, that means even stronger!!
"Huh? Is that the Meat Saintess!?"

"Come on, you lot too!!"
The people of the Shamcats seemed confused, but as if to blow away their fear and anxiety, they began shouting too.
[Muscle, meat, meat!!] [Rosariiinnn!!]And when everyone's hearts became one, an angel descended from the sky.
A beautiful angel danced gracefully, shining with a brilliant light. The ominous presence faded away…
Somehow, courage welled up inside me!!

I remember her! She saved my village!
She was sitting on Rosariiinnn's shoulder. The Meat Saintess looked surprised. I waved at her, and she smiled and waved back.
[The Saintess is hereeeee!!!]The people from Wolfanea cheered with joy.
"The Saintess??"
The people of the Shamcats didn't know, did they? Just how incredible the Meat Saintess is.
"She saved Wolfanea from the Great Tsunami and famine!! She'll definitely save us this time too!!"
I nodded at the adults' words.
"That's right! And she's really strong too!!"
Everyone said we'd be fine because the Meat Saintess was here.
Before we knew it, the Shamcats had joined us in cheering.
[Muscle, meat, meat!!] [Rosariiin!!] [Meat, meat, muscle!!] [Rosariiinnn!!]We were sure it would be okay.
Everyone believed in the Meat Saintess.
And then… a miracle happened.
An old angel wearing cat-patterned underwear appeared.
He was glowing and looked strong, but since he was up high, his underwear was completely visible.
Wasn't he embarrassed?
Everyone was stunned.
It was probably… fine, right?
